I think Marie won this round. Posted by Picasa

Hannah was sitting up when I started to take the picture, but she decided we were tiring her out. Posted by Picasa

Susan and Lily had a good time hanging out in their PJs. Posted by Picasa

Why did we decide to wait until we looked our worst before taking our group shot? Even Lily and Hannah thought watching tv was more fun than taking pictures. Posted by Picasa

Christmas 2005

Since so much have happened since I've updated, I decided to break things down in smaller increments. December was a very busy month. We had family Christmas at our house with my family on Christmas Eve. Mama, Daddy, Aaron, Ty, Angie, and Abby came. It was very nice. We were just sad David, Traci, and Lilly Kate couldn't be here.
Then on Christmas Day we went to Mo's. I got to play with Abby most of the day. I think I'm in grave danger of spoiling her (sorry Ty and Angie!).
We spent the 26th with Joe, Brenda, and Matt. That was a little weird for them since they had always been together on Christmas Day for the past 31 years, but Matt had to work on Christmas so we settled for the 26th. We also had good fun there. Matt even gave Cosmo a gift, which Cosmo loved and tore up within 2 days.
Speaking of gifts, Wade and I gifted ourselves with a 42" plasma tv this year. Wow! I never really thought we'd have something like that, but it sure is nice. The only thing is that it has spoiled us to regular tvs. I don't say this to boast; it's just that I'm still pretty excited about it.
I love that mostly we just spent this Christmas season with family and friends and didn't really do so many gifts. Of course we ate too much, too, but we had a good time doing it.

Abby was chewing on this gift, but every time I tried to take a picture she would move. Posted by Picasa

I'm not sure why, but I love this picture of me holding Abby up to the ornaments on Mo's Christmas tree. Lara (in the background) also had a good time with Abby. Posted by Picasa

Aunt Pam and Matt--or is that Santa? Posted by Picasa

Joe and Brenda must have been good this year. Posted by Picasa

Baby Pictures

This is just a quick post to show off my cute little nieces. I should have more pictures of Lilly Kate soon.

My new niece, Lilly Kate. Posted by Picasa

I think Abby likes chewing on Ty's nose a lot better than he does, but this pic is priceless! Posted by Picasa

I can play leap-frog now. Posted by Picasa

I couldn't be any cuter, could I? Posted by Picasa

A Thankful Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!! For us, it wasn't the most normal of Thanksgiving Days, but that's ok. I have so very much to be thankful for that I don't know where to begin. It came to me today just how very grateful I really am for my family...from my immediate family to my extended family to Wade's family (I often forget that I'm not actually "blood related" to them). It's good to know that you are surrounded by people who love you and really care about you, and to know that you feel the same way about them. I'm thankful that Daddy is feeling better and that he got to go home from the hospital today. I'm thankful for my friends; they're a very special kind of family to me and I feel blessed to have them in my life. I'm thankful for Wade--my husband, my forever love, my favorite person, my very best friend. And lastly (in this list), I'm thankful to be an aunt again....That's right! Lilly Kate was born on Tuesday. She was early, but everything is fine with mother and baby. Congratulations, David and Traci!!!

"Mr. Weathers, how old are you?"

"I'm 31." "Well, if you weren't married," replied his female student, "I'd set you up with my mom. She's 32; she had me when she was 15. Everybody says she's hot."
Wow! What would you say? Jennifer said it means that Wade really is a peepaw. Thank God I don't have to deal with teenagers every day; I couldn't handle it.
That's pretty much all that's really going on...we're so boring sometimes. But it is nice to just get to rest every once and a while. We did go watch Walk the Line today and it was good. Nothing more exciting than that this weekend. If I was a sports fan I'd be excited to know that Auburn won, but mostly I was just glad that we went to Auburn during the game so traffic wasn't bad.

Hockey Day 2005

"And on the 8th day God created Hockey and it was good"(or something close to that) was this year's theme. I love Hockey Day! It was so good to see everyone! I had a great time even though I didn't pay much attention to the games. I was too distracted keeping Lily and catching up with good friends. (Ashley--my new song cards are wonderful!) There were even more good times when we went to J&R's for lunch. There was only one drawback: no Susan with the smiley shorts...we were all very sad! But overall it was a fun day! I heart Judson!

"Wi-wee, say Cheese!" Am I the only one who has a hard time believing that Mrs. Michelle's Abby is 5 years old already? Posted by Picasa

Angela and Lily; I love this picture! Posted by Picasa
